Well, my review of “Goddess of Light” was harsh. I did not like the ending... while it was happy, it felt like a lot of details were lost and it did not feel complete. With that being said, this was an excellent read. After feeling a little let down after the last, I am so glad I didn’t stop reading this series. Goddess of the Rose may be my favorite thus far; and I LOVED Goddess of Spring. Its sweet, interesting, unusual, romantic, dark, and light all at the same time. I enjoyed it thoroughly and quickly! I highly recommend it.

P.C.Cast does a wonderful job writing these Goddess Summoning series. I'm not really one to read the drug store romance novels but these drew me in from the very start.
Goddess of the Rose takes you to a divine realm where things seem so wonderful at 1st. But it's found all to soon to not be. With the love a a woman has, she must try to save the roses. If she can't the realm will die along with them.
I would suggest picking up any of the books in this series and give them a try. Lite easy reading,. Good to curl up in bed at night or even a cold rainy day.
It's almost as though I knew what she had to do before she did it. It is an amazing beauty and the beast adaption. I loved every minute of it! You rock Pc. Cast!! Make me more like it!! Plz!!!!
I was recommended this book due to my obsession with beauty and the beast-- in that regard, it did not disappoint. There was a bit of cheese, as to be expected, but overall the story was well thought out and paced. I enjoyed the rose information the author collected and the personality of the protagonist. I'd highly recommend it for a weekend read or for anyone into mythos and romance. )
Personal favorite of mine. I like the heroine and the love interest, its different. The ending was also super sweet, which I liked.
I really enjoyed this. However the Beast thing was kind of weird. I couldn't really imagine what the beast looked like except I understood the beast had horns and claws, but did the rest of him look like a man? It just seems kind of like beastiality which grossed me out. But beyond that it was a sweet story, probably not my favorite out of the series though.
Could a woman really love a beast? Great retelling of beauty n the beast. I have always loved the beast, and felt empathy for him. This story spun his history and had my heart wrenching for him. Bravo for that alone ) ! I found myself skipping over a lot of rose descriptions. I get that it's the realm of the roses, and her name is a rose. And there's this garden, and that garden all with lots of roses. But honestly, I spent so much time reading about roses, I don't care to ever hear or read of them again. I think the flower was a little over done. Loved the love story though, wish there was more of it.
I absolutely love P.C. Cast's writing!! I loved the House of Night series and I love this one as well. The characters in these books are older than the House of Night characters. I really enjoy that aspect. The stories are all completely different but they usually mention a previous story in the current one. That ties everything together so you have an even better understanding of the situation. I love that as well. Once I finish this series, I will look for more of her books to read as I really enjoy them although I've read quite a few of hers, lol. If you love to get wrapped up in a story and don't want to put it down, this series is for you. Romance, magick, and mythology all in one. A wonderful read!
